During the winter months last year, I was able to borrow my fiancee’s Yashicaflex that she was gifted.

It’s a pretty standard TLR (twin-lens reflex)

But it very well may be my gateway drug into the wold of Medium Format.

I finally developed and scanned the test roll i’d done last winter! Sure some of the light has penetrated the outside but the majority of the shot has come through.

I was recently given a Epson V500 scanner, to replace my limiting Epson V300 scanner, now I can do 120 film in a breeze! This is exciting times, the cost of film isn’t too bad for B&W for 120, and using it for primarily special landscapes or photographs.

I’m keeping my eye out for affordable/cared for Hasselblad 500C/M’s, which very well may turn into an addiction of MF films!

These are shot on a roll of 400 ISO T-Max, and developed for 10 minutes in a solution of 1+50 Rodinal R09 at 68 degrees.

Here’s some of the shots that came out.
