Finally found one of the lenses that I’ve always wanted to own, adapted to M-mount. The legendary W-Nikkor 3.5cm f1.8! This lens originally was made in S-mount with a few special LTM ones made for thread mount. All of those fetch crazy money and actually have a different optical formula than this. Ever since I had a UC-Hexanon 35mm f2 from which this lens was used as an base from, I always wanted to try it myself. Preliminary photos do not disappoint!! So exciting. There’s some haze in the middle element after the aperture that I’m going to clean out before taking more photos →
